I have always felt that a cat is an animal that allows you to live with it.
More though, if you know the play CATS. The play is based on an old Italian, either Sicilian or Neopolitan, I’m not sure which (I am both, so I get confused) belief. “ You should always be nice to a cat, because a cat is a lost soul waiting to get into heaven.”
