Creative Visualization – I thunk it, therefore I am?

July 30, 2021 – Today’s reblog is a keeper, for sure. Long before that other book (*cough* The Secret *cough*) talked about creating your reality, this book had the goods. I loved this kind of stuff and was doing the work long before it became all the rage. How about you?

Of all my self-help books, this is probably one of the most famous, if not the most famous. My copy is the 40th Anniversary edition, though I read the first edition with a million other folks back in the 1980s.

Shakti Gawain(1948-2018) was a self-help superstar and visualization was her vehicle to get there.Creative Visualization was her first book and it was a whopper! She wrote others, but darned if I can remember the titles. This one, though… well, let’s just say that Oprah got involved! And as you know, Ms. O had the power, influence and audience to shoot it to the stratosphere!
