Picture of the Day – “Excuses”

I know it’s a bench and seemingly has nothing to do with excuses.

Au contraire!

As I snapped this shot from my car, I thought of how excited I was for the summer to arrive so I could walk outside again. Last year I began in June and I had hoped this year I could begin in May.

But alas…

The weather has been weird and so have I.

Never mind the rest of the world. Are you heartbroken like me?

Or… is it all just an excuse?

So, that’s where my head is “at” today.
