Picture of the Day & Poem – “The Goddess Tree”

She stands beside the rivers edge

With open arms she makes a pledge

To gather up the wayward winds

And hold them in her spindled limbs

Her greenery is turning brown

Her head has lost its gilded crown

And yet, she roots in deeper still

The goddess tree has her own will.
