You guys! I had so much fun with this kid’s palette I picked up from the dollar store!
I don’t know what made me do it… but I sure am glad I did!
The little painting I created is in my journal as we speak and will remain there for me to remember and enjoy.
But I’m not blind. I can see the thing. It’s terrible. And that’s OKAY!
I hadn’t known what I’d be painting beforehand. When it comes to art, I’m not much of a planner.
So, I let the paints, colors, and my imagination lead me!
The bristles of the brush smooshed onto the paper and most of them stuck there. The paints didn’t blend well. What can I say? It cost two bucks and was an experiment.
Next up? Pastels. I’ll tell you how that goes. 🙂
In the meantime, it reminds me to remind you…
DO THAT THING.
You’ll know the one.
THAT THING THAT YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO.
And that is my self-help message for today.
Pretty good one, don’t ya think?
Who cares whether we can do something?! You gave it a go and enjoyed it and you want to do more. That’s brilliant!
